Valve Pressure + Temperature Relief 1000Kpa 15mm PTR15-1000

PTR15‑1000‑LF pressure and temperature relief valve is designed to safely relieve excess pressure and temperature in hot water systems caused by thermal expansion or overheating. Rated at 1000 kPa with a 15mm (1/2") BSP connection, it discharges hot water to the drain line when required to protect the system. For improved efficiency and valve life, an expansion control valve (ECV) is recommended on the cold water supply, and a pressure limiting valve must be fitted if mains pressure exceeds 80% of the PTR set pressure. PTR and ECV valves are critical safety components and should be replaced every four years.
