Valve Pressure + Temperature Relief 1400Kpa 15mm
A Pressure and Temperature Relief (PTR) valve is a critical safety device designed to release excess pressure and temperature in a water heater caused by normal water expansion during heating. It discharges hot water to a drain line if pressure becomes too high or if overheating occurs due to a temperature control failure.
This 15mm (1/2" BSP) lead-free valve has a pressure setting of 1400 kPa and must be installed by a licensed plumber in accordance with Australian Standards
