Terms and Conditions

Please read these terms and conditions carefully before making a purchase. By purchasing, you agree to the following terms:

General

• All purchases form a legal agreement between you and Swanonline.com.au.

• By purchasing, you agree to comply with all terms listed here.

Prices

• All prices include GST.

• Delivery charges are additional unless pickup is arranged.

• Prices are subject to change and updated on our website: www.swanonline.com.au.

Product Availability

• Some items may need to be special ordered or made to order, therefore have associated lead times.

• Special orders will only be warehoused for 14 days, after which they may be returned or sold.

• If an item becomes unavailable, we will notify you as soon as possible.

Delivery

• A delivery fee applies to all orders.

• Deliveries are made to the designated site address supplied.

• If assistance is requested to move goods indoors, Swanonline.com.au is not responsible for damage or loss.

• Some deliveries are handled by external courier services. Delivery times vary by location.

• Where possible we will notify a delivery date/timeframe.

• You or someone on your behalf must be home to accept and sign for the delivery. (Excludes AUTHORITY TO LEAVE customer permissions)

• If you're not home:

  • A card will be left.
  • You must collect the goods or reschedule at your own cost.

• Multiple delivery dates incur additional delivery charges.

• We don’t charge extra for back-ordered items delivered later.

• For changes to delivery, provide at least 48 hours' notice.

• Heavy/large item deliveries are kerbside only. The customer must move items to their final location.

• Delivery drivers do not carry large items upstairs.

• All deliveries require a signature upon receipt. (Excludes AUTHORITY TO LEAVE customer permissions)

Authority to Leave Policy

By selecting "Authority to Leave" at checkout, you (the customer) give permission for your order to be delivered and left unattended at the nominated delivery address without a signature.

Please note the following conditions:

  • Responsibility for the Parcel
    Once the parcel (order) is delivered and confirmed as left by the delivery provider, all responsibility for the parcel lies with you.
  • Risk of Loss or Theft
    Swanonline.com.au is not liable for any loss, theft, or damage to the parcel (order) after delivery, under Authority to Leave instructions.
  • Safe Location
    Ensure that the delivery address provided is secure and suitable for unattended delivery.
  • No Compensation
    If an item is lost or damaged after being left with Authority to Leave, no compensation or replacement will be provided by Swanonline.com.au or the delivery company.

If you do not wish to accept this risk, do not select Authority to Leave at checkout and ensure someone is available to receive and sign for the parcel (order).

Order Cancellation

  • Custom-made items (e.g. made-to-measure vanities):
    • Cannot be cancelled more than 24 hours after the order is placed.
  • Stocked items:
    • Full refund if cancelled before delivery.
  • Special-order items:
    • Supplier restocking fees apply and will be passed on to you.

Returns & Refunds

  • All returns follow Australian Consumer Law.
  • Proof of purchase is required for all returns.
  • Returns must be requested within 30 days of purchase date.
  • Goods must be returned within 5 business days of claim and are deemed acceptable for return.
  • Goods must be:
    • In original packaging,
    • Unused,
    • In resalable condition.
  • Return delivery costs are the customer’s responsibility.

Return Fees

  • Boxed items returned within 14 days: Full refund (if no supplier surcharge).
  • Boxed items after 14 days: 20% restocking fee applies.
  • Unboxed items: 20% restocking fee applies.
  • Custom-made products: No refunds unless faulty, then a warranty process will follow with the Supplier.
  • Special-order items: 20% restocking fee if the supplier accepts the return.

Important Notes:

  • Check your items upon delivery.
  • Report any damage to us within 24 hours with photographic evidence.
  • Installed or used items:
    • Contact us before removal.
    • Warranty must be assessed in installed state.
  • If an item is faulty after installation:
    • Manufacturer warranty applies.
    • Labour costs are not covered unless specified.

Payment

  • Full payment is required before dispatch.
  • Accepted payment methods:
    • Visa, Mastercard, American Express
    • PayPal
    • BPay
    • Direct Deposit (Received Funds confirmation to our nominated Bank Account before order proceeds)
  • Your card details are encrypted for security.
  • We are only liable for the value of your order and are not responsible for any business losses.

Trade Account (Credit) Customers

  • Orders will be invoiced onto Credit Account prior to release to ensure there is sufficient credit funds.
  • Late Payment fees may apply on overdue accounts.

Product Information

  • All care is taken to ensure product info and pricing is accurate.
  • Errors may occur, and we reserve the right to cancel orders with incorrect details.
  • Product images are for reference only and may vary.
  • Always confirm product details before purchasing.

Intellectual Property

  • All content on Swanonline.com.au is the property of Swanonline.
  • You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any content without written permission.
